I just wrote up a pattern for this simple little top-down cardigan that I made for my daughter V. It takes just 2-3 skeins of madelinetosh tosh vintage (pictured in the color “hosta” *swoon*). It’s sized from 0-6m, all the way up to 4t.
This pattern went through a last-minute name change because the original name (named after her) triggered a review of every paypal transaction for some bizarre reason. Anyway, problem solved! Because of the difficulties, I’m offering 30% this and additional patterns, just use the code OOPS at checkout in my Ravelry store.

I released 3 new patterns this week and all are discounted 30% for the rest of January (no code required. the 30% will come off when you check out through ravelry)
First up, the Greenfield Baby Cardigan! (I’ll talk about my Instant Infinity Cowl and Willow Hat in future posts)
This is inspired by my adult Greenfield Cardigan from 2010, but modified to make a gender-neutral baby sweater. It’s sized from 0-24 months, and top-down with a little leaf motif. My very squirmy daughter Viviane briefly modeled it, but as you can see, you get a better look at it when she’s not wearing it.
I’m on Instagram as knittingschooldropout! Let’s be friends, or tag projects you’ve made with my patterns #knittingschooldropout or #melissalabarre so I can see the finished knits :)
