I’ve neglected to mention my newest patterns here! I’m trying to be better about that, but if you really want to hear about anything new right away, definitely head on over and “like” the facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/MelissaLaBarreKnitting
Last week, I released the Little Sprout Bonnet and Little Sprout Cardigan. Both are knit in Quince and Co Osprey at 4 sts an inch, which makes them quick knits. Both are sized from Newborn to 6 years.
If you use the code BLOG at checkout in my Ravelry store, you can take 30% of your purchase of these new self-published patterns (and the older ones too. patterns published by other companies, like quince and co, are not eligible.)
This weekend, I’ll happily turn 40.
Life is good. I’ve given birth to 2 lovely little girls in the last 3 years. I’m married to an amazing guy. I write patterns. People buy them, allowing me to pay for things like electricity, heat, and sometimes, yarn or a burrito. I’m working on a 3rd book with the greatest knitter friend ever, Cecily Glowik MacDonald. I so am grateful for another year to enjoy all of it.
Thanks for knitting along with me into a new decade!
Celebrate with me with 40% in my Ravelry store. No code required. Sale ends at the end of the day on Sunday 3/22/15
I just wrote up a pattern for this simple little top-down cardigan that I made for my daughter V. It takes just 2-3 skeins of madelinetosh tosh vintage (pictured in the color “hosta” *swoon*). It’s sized from 0-6m, all the way up to 4t.
This pattern went through a last-minute name change because the original name (named after her) triggered a review of every paypal transaction for some bizarre reason. Anyway, problem solved! Because of the difficulties, I’m offering 30% this and additional patterns, just use the code OOPS at checkout in my Ravelry store.
